Linda Letourneau, PT
North Smithfield Location

With more than 33 years of experience as a physical therapist, Linda is dedicated to helping individuals living with chronic and complex pain conditions find relief and renewed quality of life. Her clinical focus includes working with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, TMJ dysfunction, chronic neck pain, headaches, and migraines.

Linda works intuitively and with compassion, recognizing that every person’s body and story are unique. Her treatments emphasize gentle, yet effective manual therapy techniques designed to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Linda specializes in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and visceral manipulation, which are hands-on techniques that address restrictions within the nervous system, connective tissue, and internal organs. By working with the body rather than forcing change, she is

able to help reduce pain, improve function, and ease the nervous system.

Linda’s passion is helping patients who may have felt unheard or frustrated by their symptoms, offering a safe space where they are listened to and supported. Through skilled touch, empathy, and experience, she strives to help each patient move toward greater well-being.

Kathleen Muldowney

MSPT is the owner of Muldowney Physical Therapy where she provides highly personalized, compassionate care for patients with complex conditions.  She is the co-author of Living Life to the Fullest with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and has been invited to speak at the EDS Global Learning conference and other EDS conferences in NY and Canada to share her knowledge EDS as it relates to physical therapy.  With specialized expertise in Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), hypermobility, Lyme disease, myofascial releasecraniosacral therapy, headaches and TMJ disorders.  Kathleen focuses on uncovering the root causes of each patient’s symptoms rather than just treating surface issues.

For patients with EDS, Kathleen developed a screening process and has played a critical role in identifying possible cases of tethered cord syndrome — a neurological condition seen more frequently in the EDS community. Early detection of this condition is essential to achieving the best rehabilitation outcomes. Through her keen clinical insight and experience, Kathleen has identified tethered cord in over three hundred patients, guided them to the appropriate specialists and, thanks to her thorough screening and prompt referrals, many of these individuals have experienced remarkable improvements in their quality of life and functional recovery.

What sets Kathleen apart is her commitment to listening and asking the right questions to understand the full picture of her patients’ health. She takes the time to identify possible underlying medical conditions that may impact physical therapy progress and frequently assists patients in connecting with the right specialists and navigating the often-complicated medical system with confidence.

Kathleen goes beyond traditional therapy—helping patients find the right bracing, adaptive equipment, and daily living aids, as well as recommending appropriate workplace or school accommodations to support comfort and productivity.

Known for her warm, caring, and supportive approach, Kathleen is dedicated to empowering her patients to take control of their health, improve function, and enhance their quality of life, helping them Live their life to the fullest!
